Features & Care
- Tines may naturally bend or wear down over time with regular use. This is a normal part of a chasen's lifecycle.
- Before first use, soak chasen in warm water for 2–5 minutes (~158°F) until tines are fully bloomed.
- Before each use, soak tines in warm water (~156°F) for 30–60 seconds to preserve flexibility and prevent breakage .
- After each use, rinse the tines thoroughly to remove matcha residue and prevent mold. Place the clean chasen on a whisk holder to maintain its shape.
