How do I make the perfect matcha?
To achieve a lush, velvety froth, we recommend a 1:10 matcha-to-water ratio using 4–5g of matcha powder. Start by sifting your matcha to remove any clumps, then blossom your chasen by soaking it in ~80°C (175°F) warm water for 30 seconds. Pour in your water and flick your wrist gently in a swift "W" or "M" pattern until a smooth microfoam appears.
